Noteworthy Events
The Murder of Marina
In season 1, all of the events of the show are leading up to how Marina ended up in a pool of her own blood at school.
The Disappearance of Samuel
In season 2, the focus is, after Marina’s death, who may have killed or kidnapped Samuel due to him knowing too much or investigating who killed Marina.
Pablo Giving Marina HIV
Marina contracting HIV is one of the driving forces to a lot of the show’s drama. It is why Guzman is so anti-poor, how Carla ended up friends with Lu, and later on it leads to a motive for Nano being a suspect in her murder.
The High School Collapse
Thanks to the construction company that Ventura owned skimping on materials for the high school Nadia, Samuel, Christian, and Omar formerly went to, that changes their lives forever. Also, it changes Rebeca’s life since, in season 2, it is noted her father died in the accident.
But, as for everyone else? Well, it caused Nadia, Samuel, and Christian to head to Las Encinas on a scholarship that Venture made for good PR. It trapped Omar, who was never good at school, in his family’s shop. Also, it is the underlying foundation for the entire show.
The Murder of Polo
The event of season 3 which unfurls over the course of 5 months.

Marchioness
A word Rebeca often uses to describe the elite. Marchioness, specifically, is an aristocrat title, but Rebeca uses it mostly to note how the rich are snobs, entitled, and foreign compared to her, and the working-class characters on the show.
