Amari Allah
I started Wherever I Look back in 2011 and have aimed to be that friend who loves watching various forms of media and talking about it. So, from bias, strong opinions, and a perspective you may not have thought about, you’ll find that in our reviews.
Sophie Underwood
Film and TV enthusiast who could talk about Marvel for days on end. My three main hobbies are binge-watching comically long video essays on Youtube, scouring the library for hidden cinematic gems, and taking naps with my two little dogs.
Tiwanna Ellerbe
An avid lover of stand-up comedy, documentaries, films that frequent TCM, and old-school television, Tiwanna has spent decades in pursuit of discovering the new and admiring those who paved the way and connecting the sometimes starkly different generations of creators.
Nicole McCray
Nicole has been obsessed with movies and television since she was a kid, always more enchanted by the logistics of how movies were made than the actors on her screen. She’s a former production assistant and an avid film blog subscriber and contributor who loves spending her free time staying up to date on as many new releases as she can. While Nicole’s days are now spent far from film sets raising her kids, she can still be found reading up on new filmmaking techniques and following industry predictions on the next big hit.

I’m a filmmaker and writer that can cook a mean plate of pasta and always meet a deadline. When I write, I most likely have a cat on my lap. If I’m not watching movies, I’m writing about movies. If I’m not writing about movies, I’m making them. If you want to see more of my work or have something you think I should see, just reach out!

Victoria Bryant
Writing has been a passion of mine since I was very young. In fact, I got started writing for my high school newspaper, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I was always looking for fresh opportunities to improve my skills and engage with various languages. As president of the Spanish club at Georgia State University, I get to share my passion for language learning with others. I have strong opinions and enjoy discussing, sharing, and disseminating my takes on various topics. Whether through my writing, tutoring, or conversation, I’m always eager to engage with others and marinate my brain in a glop of varying perspectives.
