Overall
Our Rating (78/100): Positive (Worth Seeing)
Seek No Favor is sustenance. It doesn’t make you rush to anyone’s IMDB to see what’s next, but it doesn’t make you feel like the short time it asked of you was wasted either. It’s well-intentioned, comical enough to surely get a reaction out of some, but very middle-of-the-road.
Monroe doesn’t necessarily stand out, nor does Big Baby, and while like Attagirl! you get the vision and vibe, I wouldn’t say the characters, their presence, their build, really make you think this needs to be expanded on. It’s good to have as part of a short program theme, but I wouldn’t say it stands out and deserves a pedestal of its own.
