Review and Commentary
Overall
Our Rating (82/100): Positive (Worth Seeing)
To be very honest with you, Grant Steller’s score for Attagirl! Is the best thing about this short. It gives Blaxploitation, Quincy Jones, and considering a good part of the film is done silent movie era style, where the music takes precedence, and they have a title card for the dialog? Honestly, while the short was okay, and it was great to see Leyna Bloom star in something after many years, the main reason this is worth seeing is the music.
