The Type Of Intimacy Only A Mother and Daughter Could Have [83/100]
Beyond being completely nude with one another, which surely no other combination but mother/daughter could do, what is beautiful about the shared intimacy is that the exposure is beyond bare bodies. As the daughter opens up about sex, the mother shares her feelings of shame, desire, and more, leading to an open and honest conversation.
Yes, one the daughter was possibly not ready to be as raw as what her mother offers, but it could be submitted that we’re seeing a side of coming of age that’s murky for the parent over the child. In Sandy Fannies case, that of removing the barrier, or filter, of your child needing to be protected from who you really are as an adult.
As shown, it is not necessarily the wrong thing to do, but it is tricky and because the relationship has more sense of permanence than any friendship, it is easy to slip into saying far more than you should. Leading to reveals that can be unexpected for both parties.
Overall
Our Rating (83/100): Positive (Worth Seeing)
Sandy Fannies pursues an interesting take on a child’s coming of age by giving us the parent’s perspective and showing them test the ever-expanding boundaries due to their child becoming a young woman.
