The supposed leader of The Umbrella Academy is Luther. He has the powers of super strength, and his body shows this. However, while he may have been considered the de facto leader, no one in the family treats him this way. Though, when it comes to family, as much as he may care about most of his siblings, Allison seems to have a special place in his heart, and they might have had a thing. However, something happened.

- S1E2: He spent 4 years in space before the events of episode 1.
- S1E4: It is revealed that, 7 years prior to the start of the series, Luther went on a mission by himself and nearly died. So, Reginald used the serum, likely used to make Mr. Pogo who he is, to save him. Thus leading to the physical appearance Luther has.
David Castañeda Plays Diego
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 1 “We Only See Each Other At Weddings and Funerals”
Diego is the only member of the family who still fights crime, and is probably the biggest ass**** of everyone. I’m talking equal opportunity no matter who is in his presence. But, while a terrible brother, he does save a lot of lives with his knife throwing technique.

Noteworthy Facts & Moments In The Series
Ellen Page Plays Vanya
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 1 “We Only See Each Other At Weddings and Funerals”
For most of Vanya’s life, she lived as the one who wasn’t special. Because of this, she didn’t get to join her siblings on missions and often found herself assisting Reginald with his experiments. However, despite spending more time with him than the others, they weren’t necessarily close. Hence her tell-all autobiography which, especially for Diego, has made her a bit of a pariah in the family.

Noteworthy Facts & Moments In The Series
How Does Season 1 End For The Cast & Characters?
Colm Feore Plays Reginald
After killing himself, in order to push the children to come together and reconcile, we’re left with quite a few questions. One of the big ones are Reginald’s origins because, the technology seen in the picture above, it doesn’t shout the early industrial era, as things look when Reginald steps off a ship, assumingly, in the Americas. Also, it isn’t explained why he knew of the apocalypse nor how he was able to find even 7 of the 40 some odd kids born with powers.
Jordan Claire Robbins Plays Grace (Mom)
Brought back from the dead, but killed in the apocalypse, being that Five seemingly is taking everyone to the past, redoing their childhoods over, she’ll likely return.
Adam Godley Plays Mr. Pogo
While Mr. Pogo is killed by Vanya for knowing about her powers being suppressed, with the time reversal, we should see him again.
Tom Hopper Plays Luther
Due to the time change Five does, Luther and Allison never have their romantic moment be canon. However, they do still get closer and with him speaking to her daughter, while not in the relationship Reginald put a pause on, they’re closer than ever.
David Castañeda Plays Diego
Thanks to the words of Five, while he was drunk, Diego is less of a vigilante looking for justice and/or revenge.
Emmy Raver-Lampman Plays Allison
Because of Vanya, Allison lost her ability to do more than a whisper, but even after that she loved her and tried to protect her.
Robert Sheehan Plays Klaus
After spending most of the season doing drugs, trying to drown out Ben, and being comic relief, Klaus has a handful of moments which change everything. First, he sees Reginald, who notes he has yet to meet his potential, and then during one of the final scenes, Klaus calls upon Ben and is able to unleash Ben’s powers to save the family.
Aidan Gallagher Plays Number 5
Using immense power, and for the first time bringing other people with him, Five takes everyone to the past and, in the process, seemingly turns them into their younger selves. Pushing the idea we may see the younger version of characters far more than previously.
Justin H. Min Plays Ben
For most of the season, Ben could only talk and interact with Klaus. However, with showing his power through Klaus, it is established he has always been there.
Ellen Page Plays Vanya
After draining Luther, Diego, Klaus, and Five’s life force, she ends up causing the Apocalypse. However, with Allison shooting a gun by her ear, that seemingly knocks her out and leads to Five making a decision. He figures the only way to stop the apocalypse is to undo how Vanya was treated. So, it seems they will redo her childhood differently next time.
Ashley Madekwe Plays Eudora Patch
She dies after Cha-Cha shoots her but her murder case goes unresolved – mostly because the guns Hazel gives up aren’t handed to the cops.

She dies alone after Diego decides to not kill her in honor of Eudora’s memory.
