  1. This series as a whole as you say does not rely on the supernatural lore. The writer’s what to used very very loosely elements from the book and expand on as the show runner has stated. They have done a wonderful wonderful job. It is about the characters and their relationship to each other as you perfectly stated. And this shows doesn’t offer easy outs and fast resolves. Because life isn’t so easy conquer.

    – My pick for performance is Madison Taylor Baez. Her acting is so natural and her chemistry with all the actors is just engaging. She brings a sense of wonder, vulnerability, toughness, infatuation to her love of science and Isaiah and her dad. She is a spirited character who you would never know she is a vampire because she keeps on living with zest for life.

    – Not to be out done. I see lots of potential with her young co-star Ian Foreman. While I did notice 2 scene, he was smiling when being bullied, they were quick and didn’t affect his performance nor the scene itself.
His scenes with Madison, Anika, and Demair shows how great he is. His dramatic scenes are really good. He easily gives a performance of an awkward pre-teen outcast. This season who grew from a scared lonely kid to a little more confident and with a best friend/girlfriend, perhaps. I hope to see more from him.

    – The adult actors on the show are great, a slight indifferent to Jacob Buster as Peter…at first. But EP8-10 made me found his character more interesting than before.Still need some work on his acting but he has promise.

    – But the best older actors is Anika and Demair. As you said Anika just brings so much to her scenes and she has become a very important character for S2. It will be interesting to see where she and all the characters will go. Mark and Zeke is also my favorites and nothing needa to be said a out them. I

    – What didn’t work for me…at first was Claire. I found her whiny, even though she was right to be angry with her father. I think the actress was over acting those scenes. But once the father died, the actress started to come into her own. Her performance grew stronger and she piss me off. That’s good writing , direction, and acting.

    – What worked… The direction, really liked the director of EP 1, 2, 6-10. I just love all the EPs really. The acting. The story doing its own thing. My expectations be surpassed. The series being unpredictable, funny how some say it is, but there’s no way they could predict lots of stuff that happened this season. We got good character development and the possibility of new storylines and whatnot. Bring on Season 2!
