Similar to the Spiderman franchise, it seems all the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle” franchise needed was to be rebooted enough times to recapture the magic.
What better way to end 2023 Pride than a movie like “Nimona,” which reminds you how quickly hate spreads when powered by fear and the power behind being able to self-identify?
“The Little Mermaid” thankfully takes enough from the Broadway musical and further creative license from the Hans Christian Anderson story to make an entertaining, though serviceable, film.
While “Something From Tiffany’s” has one unfortunate Holiday movie obligation, everything else about this movie will potentially make it your favorite one released this season.
“Lyle, Lyle Crocodile” knows what the heart of the film could be, yet it refuses to stick to it and thus becomes a forgettable movie hoping to cash in due to lack of competition.
“Hocus Pocus 2” might be one of the few sequels you likely didn’t ask for that is far better than expected.
“Goodbye, Don Glees!” is a coming-of-age story that takes longer than it should to hook you, but once it has you, you’re attentive.
While Mrs. Harris has all the charm in the world, unfortunately, dry supporting characters are too much to compensate for.
Better than the first, Grace VanderWaal returns as Stargirl, but now in Los Angeles, and as she crafts a new community, she hopes her mom’s instability doesn’t ruin her new home.
