Film Summary
For Torrin and his crew, the Thanapod seemed like a death sentence, and for many, it was/is. However, when tasked with going into the ship, where it was hiding, Torrin makes a deal with the being. But, the deal is that it is to be taken to Phaiden Island, where it will feed on the civilization there, and in return, it won’t hurt Torrin or his crew.
Of course, this has to be put to a vote but, no one votes as Torrin would want them to, so he makes a decision that requires a lot of people to die.

Torrin touts himself as an essential member of the ship, since he appears to be the navigator. However, as things get bad, it seems the crew would be willing to sacrifice him and hope for the best.

It Keeps You Engaged
As you watch Torrin play middle man and politics, you are drawn to what he may do next, especially to keep himself alive. For there comes a point where it is clear he is losing both sides who grow tired of him making what appears to be lateral decisions. So between him having to make sacrifices, or be sacrificed himself, you’re a little on edge since it is hard to be sure if we should see Torrin as a villain or, at best, an anti-hero.

Our Rating: Positive (Worth Seeing)
The high seas, lack of trust, a giant monster, and one man who stands between an island civilization being massacred or a crew risking their lives to save them. With Bad Travelling there is so much to love here.
