Afterlife of the Party Ending (Spoilers)
In the end, Cassie ascends. She helps Lisa gain enough confidence to apply for a job working under Dr. Redding and gets her into a relationship with her neighbor. For her mom, Sofia forgives herself for her absence, and Cassie forgives her too, and as for Howie? Well, alongside getting him back into yoga, he also hooks him up with Emme, and she freshens up Emme’s shop, which is having its one-year anniversary. Which, strangely enough, is the anniversary of Cassie’s death.
Does After Life of the Party Have Prequel/ Sequel Potential?
Not really. Yes, they could stretch things out and make Cassie a guardian angel and have her watch over her friends or parents, maybe guide them through new troubles they are having in life, but it does seem they are better off making this a one and done.
