“Lucy (Grace Van Patten) looking over at Macy, who seems to understand her like they’ve known each other their whole lives,” Tell Me Lies, “Lightning Strikes,” directed by Jonathan Levine, 2022, (Hulu)

Thanks to her dad, Lucy has a love for travel, and at Baird, she majors in English with the long-term goal of becoming a travel writer. But, while sure of her career, her personal life is a whole other thing. Why? Well, if you go by her mother CJ, among a few others, it is because she can be a bit icy and unfeeling. “Pippa (Sonia Mena) meeting Lucy for the first time,” Tell Me Lies, “Lightning Strikes,” directed by Jonathan Levine, 2022, (Hulu)

Pippa is Bree’s roommate in college who generally liked to play the role of the fun one and sometimes the tactless one. Though, alongside that role, she likes to push the idea of not getting attached or too invested in any guy the ladies see, likely because of past relationship trauma.

But, to make matters worse, the messages were posted throughout the school, thus her transferring senior year and in college, creating a new persona. One in which Pippa was the cool and sexy girl who is really people-pleasing. When in reality, her first sexual experience was in the common room, on a couch, with Wrigley.

But, with a mother who has no issues dragging him into a negative mental state and trying to juggle two women, Stephen has a lot going on.
