In a Relationship – Recap/ Review (with Spoilers)

In a Relationship tones down the dramatics of young love and while the lack of dramatics does make the film eventually feel dull, it also makes it one the most honest depiction you’ve seen in a while. Community Rating: 58.89% (3)

Palo Alto – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview A film which truly shows how much the power of a recognizable name can do for you. Review (with Spoilers) Around the time of the Tribeca Film Festival, there seemed to be a lot of buzz about this movie. Showings were sold out, James Franco was in trouble for hitting on a minor, and it somehow became the star movie for the festival. Fast forward a few months later and I finally get to see it and, well I don’t understand the hype. See reasons why below. Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

Delerium: Season 1/ Episode 1 "Pilot" [Series Premiere] – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview In many ways, Delirium appears inspired by The Giver but is more angled toward appealing to those who would like something Divergent style. Review (with Spoilers) WIGS is a web station which has a sole focus of having women in leading roles, well for the most part white women, but it has to be said that most of their programming certainly does force the idea that just because something is web-based, it doesn’t mean it is an inferior product. Especially when compared to something which traditionally would premiere on TV. Delirium is no different for while it does seem like a CW show, or maybe one of ABC Family’s weaker offerings back when The Secret Life of the American Teenager was their biggest hit, it nonetheless surely has an audience.   Community Rating: 0.00% (0) - No Community Ratings Submitted.

Adult World – Overview/ Review (with Spoilers)

Overview Adult World I won’t necessarily call a coming of age film, but more so a wake-up call. Review (with Spoilers) Adult World is one of the many films I wanted to see at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival that I was unable to. But, in Adult World’s case, it wasn’t a timing issue, but more so the fact it was sold out. A year later though it has become available, and with Emma Roberts just ending a season, with Evan Peters who is also in the movie, of American Horror Story I thought this film became available at a very opportune time.
