Character Description
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 1 “Mirror Faces”
Elodie, raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico finds herself in Portland, Oregon after her mom dies. Thankfully, it is with her dad, but with them not being close, it is an uncomfortable situation for her. But, at the very least, her stepmom and brother aren’t making an already bad situation worse – she is. How? Well, since her mom went into the hospital, she picked up a habit of stealing. It began as an accident, just taking a thing of Starburst without paying, and developed into a habit. One which she justifies as her taking back from a world which took her mother from her.
Additional Information About Elodie
- It’s revealed in season 1, episode 2, that Elodie has an interest in girls. Specifically, a friend from New Mexico named Zoey. Someone who may not have known about Elodie’s feelings.

Character Description

Elodie’s dad who means well, but while Elodie’s mom was alive, he clearly wasn’t an active member of her life. He checked in, had her come for the sporadic holiday, but he definitely was not the most attentive father.

Character Description

Elodie’s 8-year-old brother who is your average kid. He’s someone who likes cartoons, science stuff, and seems to desire a relationship with Elodie.

Character Description

Someone who made it appear she was interested in being friends with Elodie, but really she was just pushed to by her dad. So, her character description is that she is trash since she decides to reveal that openly.
Additional Information About Rachelle
- To attract a boy she likes, she dumbs herself down. However, she struggles doing so since she is smarter than the boy.
Tabitha Foster (Quintessa Swindell)
Character Description
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 1 “Mirror Faces”
Coming from a well to do family, it seems Tabitha might be set for life. Add in an attractive boyfriend as well, and you may think she has not a worry in the world. However, there is more to her than the visual she puts out there. The question is, who is willing to look beyond the surface?

- Tabitha dated Brady for two years before they broke up and it seems, more often than not, she has been in a relationship since 9th grade.
- It’s Just A Little Crush (2.6): Has had a crush on Ben since she was 11.

Moe Traux (Kiana Madeira)
Character Description
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 1 “Mirror Faces”
Moe is a bit of a mystery. Outside of formerly being friends with Tabitha, a love of stealing, and having a secret relationship with Noah, Moe doesn’t reveal much of herself to us at first.
Additional Information About Moe
- Despite the general appearance of her not caring about most things in life, that is but a ruse. As learned in season 1, episode 2, Moe is a big reader, into STEM, loves her often absent mom, and there is so much more to her than she often allows people to know.
- Father, Danny Traux, is currently in Two Rivers prison.
- Her brother’s name is Ben and seems to, like her, know a lot of people.
- Previous to meeting the girls, Moe didn’t shoplift before. In fact, the reason she is in Shoplifters Anonymous was because she took the hit for one of her brother’s friends. She just decided, after her time was up, to stay because it was therapeutic.
- She has an uncle named Carl.
- Government name (2.7): Moe is short for Maureen.
Brady (Brandon Butler)
Character Description

Tabitha’s boyfriend, who is aggressive with her to the point of being abusive and controlling.

- Before breaking up, Tabitha and Brady were together for 2 years.
- He likes to park in handicap spots.
- Badly wants to get into Stanford.
- Just Like My Brother (2.7): We learn Brady’s older brother is in the Ivy League and also disrespects Tabitha.

Noah (Odiseas Georgiadis)
Character Description
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 1 “Mirror Faces”
Noah is Moe’s friend with benefits who she doesn’t date, doesn’t attempt to be seen with publicly, but they have an understanding which seems beyond just being f-buddies.

- Is a soccer player and one of Brady’s teammates.
- The Pianoman (2.3): We learn he plays piano in the school band.
Luca (Henry Zaga)
Character Description
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 2 “Paper Tigers”
Like Elodie, Tabitha, and Moe, he has a problem with stealing. However, unlike the rest of them, he is an adult, with a job, and it seems the consequences could be much more for him.

- He is a bartender at the Paper Tiger.
- Based off how Luca talks in Season 1, Episode 6, it doesn’t seem like he is from the Portland area.
- Used to be consumed by Sabine, perhaps in love with her, but then he realized he couldn’t love her anymore.

AJ (Jacob Skidmore)
Character Description
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 3 “P*ssy Palace”
Not much is known about AJ. From what we see, it’s clear he is very flamboyant and one could assume he is queer but that is not confirmed. Also, we learn from him he isn’t as new as Elodie but is familiar with that feeling for it isn’t like he grew up in Portland. Now, whether he will end up a friend of Elodie after his introductory episode? That remains to be seen.

Character Description

Whit is Tabitha’s dad who went to Stanford and that is the source to many of his connections, for he also pledged to a fraternity. As for what his day job is? Well, the only thing that is clear is that he is making enough for a rather large house in a Portland suburb.

Lori (Joy Bryant)
Character Description
First Noted In: Season 1, Episode 4 “Happy F**king Birthday”
Lori is Tabitha’s mother who is a social media influencer. Now, whether or not she was such before meeting Whit is hard to say. All that we know for sure is that her way of thinking does have a negative effect on Tabitha. In fact, Lori is likely the source to some of Tabitha’s insecurities and possibly part of the reason she was with Brady so long.

Sam (Caitlin Michael Riley)
Character Description

A friend of a friend of Moe’s, she takes an interest in Elodie and presents her with an awkward kiss. Pushing the idea Elodie is quite green when it comes to talking to girls, kissing, and maybe intimacy in general.

Character Description

A singer, who also happens to be Luca’s roommate, who takes an interest in Elodie after catching her trying to steal some merchandise. Specifically a pin.

- According to Luka, she is very much into herself, is a bit of a nomad, and maybe has control issues. Pair that with her saying she isn’t much for labels and Elodie has a serious possible issue on her hands.

Character Description

Moe’s mother who raised both her and her older brother while her father was in prison. Often, she worked multiple shifts at a local diner to make ends meet so she doesn’t get to have as much quality time with Moe as Moe would like. However, despite that, Moe appreciates and loves her mom to bits.

Elodie
After Doug finds her stash of stolen goods, and the remote for Brady’s car, she is told she is going to be sent to an inpatient facility in Seattle. However, she decides instead to go on Sabine’s tour to escape that sentence.
Doug
He learns his daughter is involved with Doug’s car being stolen and tries to send her away for help since he is beyond his rope.
Spencer
Thanks to Spencer, Doug learns about Elodie’s stash and that she was part of Brady’s car being stolen. He does apologize before Doug drops the hammer though.

Instructed by Doug, she arranges the whole Seattle in treatment care for Elodie – off screen.
Rachelle

With losing her chance to study in Korea for a semester, due to punching Brady, and her dad Danny ghosting her, Moe steals a bottle to drink from. Though, on a positive note, by the 1st season finale it seems her and Noah’s relationship gets ironed out.
Brady
After being denied entry into Whit’s Stanford party, he calls the cops, as promised, to report who jacked his car.
Noah
While he has an injured arm, due to trying to impress Moe, in the long run he wins the girl and should still have a chance to impress scouts with his soccer skills.

Free from Sabine, with a basement apartment, Luca is happier than ever and may soon be a restaurant manager. That is on top of Tabitha’s newest boyfriend.
AJ
AJ only appears in two episodes and seems happy in both so let’s assume he is fine.

After being called out for cheating, he and Lori are talking and while they haven’t full on reconciled yet, it seems she isn’t willing to throw 18 years of marriage away.

She’s dead from a car accident but with Elodie’s deposition, the driver should be brought to justice.
