Additional Information About Officer Whitman

How Does Season 1 of Netflix’s Family Reunion End?

Cocoa

After being harassed by Officer Whitman, Cocoa takes that as the final straw. She has had some difficulty adapting to Columbus, Georgia but cops harassing her and Moz is too much. Much less the possibility of them harassing their kids.

Ami

Ami continues to advocate for people washing their hands. Especially if they are going to be anywhere near her food.

Maybelle

Still single, going to church, making Mint Julep’s and baking cakes.

Jebediah

While around, he still travels extensively. Which makes Amelia having her son and his family around good to end the silence.

Jade & Ava

Confused over whether Kurt played them or they made a claim on him too soon.

Shaka, Elvis & Mazzi

Still a bit shaken from a cop pointing a gun at them.

MiKayla

She remains the woke queen ready to check Jade for not knowing enough about Black culture.

Drew

With just seeing Jade with another guy, and it happening in front of his friends, he decides to go from a nice guy to a butt head real quick. Ending the courting he was doing.

Amelia

Amelia is still dealing with high blood pressure, and with what happened to her grandbabies, it is likely to be high.

Moz

He’s currently reevaluating whether he should fight for his family to stay in Columbus considering the likelihood of reporting Officer Whitman again or going to the mayor, could escalate things.

Daniel

Likely hiding from Debra Sue who he foolishly brought back into his life.

Charlie Wilson

Probably back on the road. We only see him for one episode.

Grayson

It isn’t clear. We see him for just the episode he is introduced in. So we don’t even learn his, or his family’s, reaction to Shaka giving Grayson sneakers which cost over $200.

Sister Patty

Like Grayson, we see her one episode so we can only assume she is doing okay.

Lily

Drew’s little sister, like many on this list, is seen once and never again. But let’s assume she is worrying about her environmental impact. Maybe dealing with Drew feeling heartbroken.

Grace

Living her best life not that her secret of not being in seminary and instead being an anointed matchmaker is out.

Principal Dana Glass

A bit upset that he had a protest against school policies he supported, but likely more in his feelings about his ex-wife who seemingly cheated on him.

Missy

Let’s assume she is doing fine for we don’t see much of her beyond her introductory episode.

Brooke

Like with Missy, despite her making a connection to a main character, in her case becoming Shaka’s special friend, we don’t see much of her past the introduction.

Haven Sheeks

After being told off and fired, the trend following, highly successful pageant coach is likely still being ignorant as hell on the pageantry circuit.

Solomon & Fannie Joe

Dead, but free and happy.

Francine & Tommy

Assumingly dead, but happy.

Paul

Died of heart disease.

Debra Sue

Still trying to make a man out of Daniel and being driven to madness in the process.

Eric & Katrina

Happy, in sync, and making other couples question their relationships.

Kurt

Prepping to go to Jade’s school and maybe not knowing he caused drama between Jade and her best friend.

Renee

Loving the new drama going on between Jade, Ava, and Kurt.

Officer Whitman

Being an ass.
