How Does Season 1 End for the Characters of Netflix’s On My Block

Cesar & Monse

After Monse ducking and dodging being public about her feelings for Cesar, during Olivia’s quince they finally become official.

Ruby & Olivia

In the end, Ruby got his girl after many a gallant effort. Unfortunately, due to Cesar showing Latrelle mercy, he and Olivia are shot with their fates to be revealed in season 2 (trailers make it seem Ruby lives but Olivia… well)

Mario is alive and well and, like Ruby, a bit girl crazy.

When we last see Oscar he is pushing Cesar to handle his business with Latrelle so his dreams of becoming an architect, buying a house on a beach, and getting his brother a restaurant can come true.

Dwayne & Jamal’s Mom

In the end, though they would love for Jamal to continue his father’s legacy, they don’t press him on it.

Despite giving him the chance to run, and live with family in Florida, Latrelle instead decides to shoot up Olivia’s quince – aiming for Cesar but hitting Ruby and Olivia.

Due to getting sick, she misses Olivia’s quince and all the drama.

After being sent on a scavenger hunt for some old chocolate, Jamal finds the real RollerWorld money underneath the football field turf.

Abuelita, a bit high, is around when Latrelle shoots up Olivia’s party.

She is present, and freaking out, after her son is shot.

We don’t see her after the episode she is introduced in.

After meeting Julia, and her making it clear she is likely Monse’s mom, we don’t see her again. In fact, Monse unfriends her on Facebook – using her fake account.

Outside of the football game, we don’t see Coach.

As during most of the season, Monty is on the road.

How Does Season 2 End For The Characters of Netflix’s On My Block?

Monse, Ruby, Jamal, Cesar

After Monse reveals she is going to an all-girls school in New Hampshire, which none of the boys believe, they all get kidnapped.

While we see a lot of growth from Jasmine, she is still her wonderfully weird self and is yelling at some boy for not responding to her nude pictures.

With him, alongside Cesar, planting dirty money on the Prophet$, and them being arrested in masse, he may finally have peace. As well as Ruby who learns Latrelle was taken down in the raid.

After the Amber debacle, he heads back to school. No word of whether he tried to reconcile with Angelica.

Geny, Ruben Sr., Dwayne, Jamal’s Mom, Monty

All the parents are just fine.

Julia (Selena)

After Monse tells her off and questions if she would have taken her if she was light skinned, we don’t see or hear from Julia again. She isn’t even noted as sending a text message.

Abuelita (Marisol)

Jamal’s confidant and biggest supporter reveals that her support shouldn’t be taken too seriously. She is someone who believes in UFOs, even claims she was abducted, and the chupacabra so her belief system is rather liberal.

Officer Hamill

It isn’t made clear if his relationship drama clears up, but we do know he is still on the force.

Coach Ron

Despite Jamal running off and not paying what was due for the football field, we don’t see him nag Jamal about it after the Valentine’s Day party.

Rosario, Paula, Sahara, Jane

We don’t see any of these women after their intial appearance. Rosario doesn’t get a follow up visit, Paula doesn’t come around and say she is pregnant, and the girls never leave Brentwood.
