Summary

What I love and hate about “The Lily” is that it reminds me of a M. Night Shyamalan movie. There is a wonderful build-up to that moment that is supposed to be so good, so shocking, worth the price of admission, but it falls flat. And don’t get me wrong, I know this is a short, so expecting Quintessa Swindell to treat this like it would be a motion picture with major backing is setting expectations far too high.
However, if you see this short, watch her match with May Petchompoo? Oh, you may wish they had skipped the match or ended it on a cliffhanger just as the first punch was thrown. For that fight did not live up to the hype, whatsoever.
