Ollie is a dominatrix in training, and William is his dad. For his father’s 50th birthday, Ollie’s mom, William’s wife, gifted him the experience of being dominated, and his son ends up being his dominatrix.

William
William is Ollie’s father, who just turned 50 and has a secret bondage fetish – as a sub.

Highlights
Awkwardly Comical
What drives interest in “Daddy Issues” is that Ollie and William seem to come from an Italian family, and just listening to Ollie’s mom, you can tell they are very passionate. But, in some ways, they might be a tad conservative. Not pray the gay away or conversion camp conservative, but rather William thinking Ollie being gay is a fad.
Which you can see sets the tone for their entire relationship. The assumption is that Ollie isn’t serious about anything, and maybe that’s true. Maybe Ollie has a certain level of privilege that he is exploring, and being that his parents have paid a notable amount into his journey, he wants results, which is understandable.
But, there is always that point towards the end of anyone’s coming-of-age journey where their relationship with their parents shifts, and it seems with learning his father’s secret, Ollie may finally find a way to move beyond his father’s perceptions of him. If not, have a means to coerce him to.
