Highlights

The Real Need to Ask Whether Alice May Live Or Die

Since the sniper can shoot a cell phone from a distance, there is a need to ask whether there is a cat-and-mouse game happening here. The sniper kills multiple people and clearly aims for Alice’s head when they get the chance. Add in they might be past military, they’re disgruntled, and with everything Alice says, she just becomes more and more the thing he hates the most? You genuinely are worried whether she may live or die.

On The Fence

The Sniper’s Dialog As His “Woe Is Me” Monologue Drags On

But, don’t think the sniper is this top-notch villain. He seems to be the type who hates others doing better than him, getting away with things he couldn’t, and he doesn’t present clever turns of phrases or monologues. He is just a man lashing out at a society he thinks doesn’t care about him, and while his connection to Alice, if there is one, is unknown, her being a woman makes her the perfect target for all of his anguish.

So, just prepare to listen to a defensive man who wants a captive audience for most of the movie.

Who Is This For?

Fans of thrillers where there is a dangerous and unhinged person with a hero who isn’t morally superior.
