Movie Summary
All Paola wanted to do was find a nice guy. She thought she did with Henry, and was quite excited about it, even with her sister, Maria, raising red flags. But, considering Henry was talking about their first in-person meeting being at his house, and his mother, Lucille, who he never talked about, answering the door, Paola surely will wish she had listened to her sister.

Review and Commentary
Highlight(s)
The “It Could Happen To You” Factor [83/100]

Dating can be a terrifying prospect, especially for women. As shown by Cat Person and Fresh, there are a multitude of things that can go wrong, and you have to trust yourself to know who is a good guy, maybe misunderstood, and who is just someone to stay the hell away from.
With Match, you’re reminded that in your pursuit of trying to find someone compatible, attractive, and who could be something long-term, you can put on rose colored glasses. Lucille answering the door? Worth raising an eyebrow. Henry not revealing that he lives with his mom is a red flag—never mind that he has a brother, Eli—and the list goes on.
Sometimes it isn’t huge, matador red cape, level issues that appear, but a lot of small ones which can make a person act color blind until it is too late, and next thing you know, this monstrous looking thing is being told to assault you.
The Question Of Who May Live Or Die [82/100]
When people start dying, it is those whom you have a low interest in, but as the bodies start hitting the floor in succession, it leads to the question of will Match end with no one alive? Just a bunch of bodies in the house? For there comes a point where the villain(s) seemingly are getting reckless, maybe overwhelmed, and with pain killers, guns, and some GHB mixture involved, it is pushed for a moment, anything can happen and no one may stay alive when all is said and done – especially considering some of the injuries inflicted.
On The Fence
Wondering How Long This All Went On [76/100]
It is revealed that there are quite a few girls who died, thanks to the villain(s). However, how long have they been down there is worth questioning, and you may wonder how the villain(s) got away with this for so long?

I don’t know about you, but there aren’t too many women I know who wouldn’t tell one person they are going on a date with someone who looks like Henry. Add in that Henry has a type, usually a woman in the prime of her childbearing years, and they are all from a dating app? Certain things didn’t add up, especially when you consider all the ladies likely had a cell phone which could have been traced, and surely someone had to have called the cops.
Overall
Our Rating (80/100): Positive (Worth Seeing)
Match may leave you questioning a few things, but with the question of who will live, who will die, and taking note of how twisted things are, you’ll enjoy this all the way through.
