When we meet Anna, she is just learning Sosuke, her childhood friend for 12 years she’d thought she would marry, has started to date a transfer student named Karen. She’s highly upset, but what makes matters worse is that Nukumizu, the quiet kid many find standoffish, has seen it all.
Surprisingly, despite him seeing the most embarrassing moment of her life, he is nice about it, even kind, and they develop a friendship through him letting her vent and hanging out together.
