Slide Text
- Intro Slide
- Recap: Lacking Goody’s book to Wednesday, is leaving her with a handicap, but in Morticia’s eyes, it is a crutch, a shortcut, and she refuses to give the book back.
- Recap: Being that the mystery is more difficult without the book, even with Agnes being her new Eugene, Wednesday duels with her mom for the right to have the book and loses – risking it being burned.
- Recap: As they continue to have issues, we learn Bianca saved her mom from the cult she was in, and Enid finally, properly, breaks up with Ajax.
- Recap: But, all doesn’t end well as Marilyn returns, and it becomes clear Principal Dort will have Bianca use her siren’s song on Morticia again.

- Review: While initially unsure of Agnes, there is something about her, akin to Eugene in season one, which makes Wednesday having an adoptive sibling sweet.
- Review: Granted, her actual sibling and her barely interact, but what is lacking in those two sharing scenes we do get in Morticia and Wednesday, and her ultimately saving her mother’s life is likely the closest she’ll get to saying she loves Morticia.
- Review: That aside, while not mentioned in the recap, I must admit, seeing Wednesday be a good leader, champion for the outcast, yet reject it, remains a wonderful but perplexing thing.
- Review: But, lest we forget, Addams might be weird, but they are inherently loyal, and even if Wednesday detests her popularity, she’d never let outsiders hurt her people – that’s her job.
- Review: With that said, the ambiguity of Principal Dort remains intriguing, and I’m left wondering if we really need Marilyn to return.
- Overall (83/100): From fencing to Wednesday bonding with Agnes, in her own way, and showing she loved her mom, in another, Wednesday shows it has a beating heart. It’s just sometimes there is too much fat suffocating it.
