Storylines

- As Belly starts to realize she is about to become someone’s wife, specifically Jeremiah’s, so comes a smidge of doubt. Whether it is not finding the perfect place, how much influence Adam has over everything, or her not knowing one fact she was so sure was true, cracks start to show. Add in having a moment with Conrad, like he did with her at the peach stand, and so comes the question of whether she can push through this.
- Conrad ends up convincing Laurel to be part of Belly’s nuptials, especially as he notes the toll it is taking on Belly with her not being there.
- Despite how open Taylor is to getting back together with Steven, with Lucinda cheering her on, it seems Denise and Steven are growing closer than ever – with her even proposing starting a business together built off Steven’s game.
- Adam, in all his audacity, reveals he is bringing Kayleigh, his assistant and former mistress, now girlfriend, to Jeremiah’s wedding.
Other Noteworthy Information
- Despite being talked about, John is nowhere to be seen.
Slide Text
- Intro Slide
- Recap: The closer Belly gets to becoming Jeremiah’s wife, the more the façade fades, and she is coming to realize who he is when he isn’t fun and charming.
- Recap: This opens the door for Conrad, who is by no means pursuing Belly, but once again they share a moment which pushes the idea that if one of them leapt, the other would catch them.
- Recap: As that happens, Taylor wants to keep hope alive regarding herself and Steven, but Denise is increasingly becoming not just a co-worker, friend, and potential business partner, but could become a girlfriend.
- Recap: But the big thing of the episode is that Conrad is able to convince Laurel to join Belly’s bridal shower and the wedding. Also, he confesses to his dad that he got fired from the clinic, which doesn’t elicit much of a reaction.

- Review: Let us start by saying, I hope Denise and Steven get together, and the story doesn’t shift to a grand gesture from Taylor that leads Steven to go after her.
- Review: That aside, I’m not for how messy Conrad is being. Knowing he isn’t the most communicative about his pain, I do feel like he played up a bit that cut he had to see if Belly would care for him.
- Review: Never mind, there is this feeling he wants Belly to ultimately make the betrayal so that he doesn’t have to take on the guilt of choosing Belly, for Belly made the move and chose him first.
- Review: Setting aside those relationships, I am hoping and praying that if this all gets to the altar, someone says something about Kayleigh, Adam’s mistress, being there. Maybe John, considering they swept him under the rug. If not, Laurel.
- Overall (82/100): I don’t live for the drama but do want to see how it plays out, and I’m left hoping that, between Steven and Belly, they ultimately make the right decision and end up either single or with someone who pushes them forward and doesn’t hold them back.
