- Public Release Date: August 6, 2025
- Director(s): Tim Burton

Storylines
- Wednesday decides to pull her maternal grandmother into things, and while Hester tries to get Goody’s back, her presence only affirms Morticia’s beliefs, and she destroys Goody’s book by fire.
- Uncle Fester gets himself committed to Willow Hill and makes progress early on regarding Wednesday, trying to figure out who Patricia Redcar is and finish Gilpin’s investigation.
- We ultimately learn Judi is running Willow Hill, with Dr. Fairburn as the face of the organization, and her father, the former Nevermore Academy instructor, Augustus Stonehurst, who has a deep love for outcasts, experimented on her to make her into one. She notes it was voluntary, and it also was a success, since she became a rare aviary outcast. However, the outcasts experimented on were not volunteers and suffered.
- Uncle Fester unleashes every outcast at Willow Hill, including Tyler, leading to the assumed death of Marilyn, and thanks to Slurp also getting free, Dr. Fairborn and Augustus die. But, before Augustus dies, Slurp reveals he can now talk thanks to how many brains he has eaten.

Slide Text
- Intro Slide
- Recap: With Dr. Fairburn having some level of desperation to break through to Tyler, she entertains the idea of working with Marilyn, but ultimately she decides against it.
- Recap: But, as Fairburn is caught up in Tyler, Wednesday uses her grandmother to get under Morticia’s skin, in hopes of getting Goody’s book, which spectacularly fails, as it triggers Morticia.
- Recap: Seeing her mom, unremorseful, only deepens her reminder of Ophelia and leads Morticia to throw the book in the flames, and also any chance Principal Mort could get Grandmama’s money.
- Recap: Speaking of mothers and daughters, Ajax helps Bianca rescue her mother as Fester brings attention to the inn to get committed to Willow Hill so Wednesday can do a deeper investigation.
- Recap: Ultimately, she learns that LOIS, which Gilpin was looking into, stood for Long Term Outcast Integration study and was being done by former Nevermore teacher, Augustus Stonehurst, and his daughter Judi, who appeared to be Fairborn’s assistant.
- Recap: the experiment was being done to give normies the ability to become outcasts, and Judi was the first success, making the ever-rare aviary outcast.
- Recap: But, Judi ends up exposed, Fester’s escape plan lets everyone out, and ultimately, Dr. Fairburn, Judi, Augustus, Marilyn, and even Wednesday are either dead or at the brink. Be it because of Slurp or Tyler.
- Review: While I will admit I wasn’t giving Wednesday glowing comments early on this season, I must admit this was an awesome mid-season finale.
- Review: Yes, there are still more characters than the show needs, but with the time-consuming ones being killed off and the others setting up what could be an interesting part 2 – I’m giddy.
- Review: I’d even say, despite knowing Wednesday can’t die, she is the title character. I was left a bit in fear over Tyler flinging her out the window like that – after all, Wednesday is not immortal.
- Review: I do wonder, though, between Tyler, Slurp, whoever is on Principal Burt’s back about money, and Gideon, who will fill the role of villain for the second half of the show?
- Review: Also, can I say I’m glad the stalker and aviary mystery got wrapped up in four episodes rather than dragged throughout the whole 8?
- Overall (83/100): While it could still be said the strength of Wednesday is in its dialog and the luck its casting has, far over its story, the mid-season finale certainly shows why Wednesday is a hit for Netflix and why they felt the need to break it into two parts.
