Recap
Don’t Shoot The Messenger: Sahara, Rocky, Coley, Cam
Ultimately, Coley and Rocky are eliminated for Cam is still in Shara’s corner. But, being in the bottom again doesn’t sit right with Sahara. She is just being who she is and feels criticized for it regularly, and if you didn’t know better, you’d think she was ready to quit.
Alas, she doesn’t, but it seems she doesn’t get any notable screentime till it is time for elimination either.
I Think I Made The Right Decision: Deona, Husieen, Angie, Eddie, Cisco, Tae, Naeem, Shanice, Fritz, Rose

In this week’s episode, Tommy tasks the ladies, who finally have elimination power, with going on a date with someone who isn’t their top. For some, like Tae with Naeem and Shanice with Cisco, this leads to closer relationships. Naeem gets to make headway and move past the mark against him for having five kids. And for Cisco? Well, his painting a nude Shanice brings them closer, but it could haunt him when it comes to healing his relationship with Tae.
But, while those people do well, things are a bit more challenging for Husieen, Fritz, and Eddie. For Husieen, him thinking Deona should be able to make time at work, despite her being a firefighter, turns her off, and it makes it so, while Husieen may have an attractive height, he has nothing else to offer her. For Fritz, being that Rose has struggled with miscarriages, she has been repeatedly asking if someone would be willing to adopt or maybe not have children or additional children. Fritz brings up the idea of surrogacy which is a no go for her and causes a rift.
As for Eddie, while Angie was jealous of him and Coley getting close in the last episode, her elimination seems to help but not fix the underlying issues. These are mainly Eddie’s being less geared towards partnership and seemingly wanting a woman to handle all the domestic tasks while she also handles her own business. The combo doesn’t work for her and seems to lead to her removing any thoughts and feelings she had.
Another Cliffhanger: Sahara, Eddie, Fritz, Rose
The bottom two for this episode end up being Eddie and Fritz. With Coley gone and Angie turned off by Eddie thinking women should take care of him to the level of being a second mom, his options dwindled. As for Fritz? Between Rose’s comment, the polygamy note Coley brought up still haunting him, and Shanice seemingly being the only one willing to bat for him, he is in the struggle.
Now, for Eddie, it seems the writing is on the wall as Rose is tasked with breaking the news, but for Fritz? Sahara seems ready and willing to give him a taste of what it is like to hear a lot of things about you from unnamed people and just take it. In some ways, Fritz is perplexed, but at the same time, he could just be letting Sahara get one off, knowing he has done enough to stay and that she has a chance of being eliminated in the next episode.
Predictions

- Next Eliminated (Men): I feel Eddie will get kicked for this round, and following him, honestly, it is hard to say. I want to say Kalil since he barely gets any screen time, but it is starting to seem he may be too boring to be featured, or maybe his schedule has it where there isn’t a lot to film. So, with that in mind, I’d hope it was Fritz, but otherwise, it will either be Naeem or Husieen. Naeem doesn’t seem like anyone’s top choice, and for Husieen, his height hasn’t led to it appearing anyone beyond Rose has a long-term interest.
- Next Eliminated (Women): Sahara. While Cam is fighting for her, every other woman has multiple men fighting them. I mean, granted, we haven’t seen Deona have too many great dates, so that could always knock her down, and Kiara has been sent to the back burner since revealing how she ended up single. Of all of them, however, I feel Deona could join Sahara in the bottom two, but Sahara might get eliminated or self-eliminate from being tired of being at the bottom two so many times.
- End Game Couples: Honestly, with Eddie and Angie ending, I feel like the field is still relatively open and whoever you think could last may not. Shanice and Fritz could potentially be end game. I can imagine Cisco having a split decision of who he is going to pick, and I can imagine either Rose or Angie making it to the end. But even with being halfway through the season, it feels impossible to solidly pick three couples.

The Struggle To Foresee Endgame Couples [74/100]

Maybe it is nostalgia clouding my memory, my general feelings about this show, or my own dating history, but something feels off. Usually, by this point, you can really see a few people locked in, and it seems the show has honed in on those couples. Am I the only one not seeing anything that seems solid here?
Yes, people are starting to kiss, Kiera claims Jay, Tae and Cisco shared a moment at that restaurant, but it still very much feels like anything goes. I mean, look at Angie and Eddie. They seemed locked in at Fritz’s party as he cooked on the grill, she helped, and they spent time together afterward. Cisco and Tae blew up when she found out he wasn’t in an ideal living situation, and as much as Rose has been consistent about Huseein and Cam, I also feel like she hasn’t gotten a chance to be tested by either one of them.
But, thankfully, the group vacation is coming, and that breaks a lot of the games that, if we’re being honest, “Ready To Love” encourages. For as much as it is about eventually finding the one, it also wants you to date around, and if you aren’t good at leading people to believe you have an interest in them, you can be eliminated.
Hopefully, though, despite how things seem now, we may see some of these singles match with someone they deserve.
