Remember Me: Review and Summary

“Remember Me” feels like the pitch for an odd, but lovable and relatable show.

Highlight(s)

  • Feeling Like Claire Is Breaking The Fourth Wall [82/100]

On The Fence

  • A Part Of You Wanting To See Claire With Her Dad [75/100]

Overall

Our Rating (80/100): Positive (Worth Seeing)

While the absence of Claire’s dad seemed odd and even led to the assumption the short may try to pull a “His Three Daughters,” in the end, we appreciate it keeping things light. In fact, there is a sort of weirdness to “Remember Me” that is very appealing.

For one, most of the short will lead you to question if you are part of her date prep, not as a voyeur but a friend – heck, you may sometimes wonder if she is on a date with you. And maybe that’s why it seems easy to connect with Claire as she goes on and on?

But, ultimately, what Titelman delivers here feels like something worth expanding on. Granted, would it be a bit niche? Maybe. But considering how the entertainment industry seems to finally realize diversity needs to include people, women especially, of varying ages, this could be the kind of pitch a network has been waiting for.
