Kiernan Shipka Plays Sabrina
First Noted In
Season 1/ Episode 1 “Chapter 1: October Country”
Who Is Sabrina?
A half-witch/ half-mortal, devout feminist, and social justice advocate, Sabrina encompasses a lot of adjectives. However, when it comes to the core two, being both witch and mortal, that might be the only ones which trouble her. For while she loves having powers, the patriarchal structure and sacrifices which are required to be a full witch are daunting. Yet, with it being her connection to her father, to give that up for her friends, and boyfriend Harvey, makes for a difficult decision. One which, if she can, she may try to haggle her way out of making.

Additional Information
How Does Season 1 End For Sabrina
In the end, Ms. Wardwell and the Dark Lord win. To stop the Greendale Thirteen and the Red Angel, Sabrina signs the book of the beast and learns she is perhaps one of the four most powerful witches ever by summoning hellfire. In doing so, she seems to realize her powers, alongside signing the book, won’t allow her to maintain her duality of being mortal during the day and a witch during the afternoon and evenings. So, she says her goodbye to Harvey, with one last kiss, and fully immerses herself within the world of witches. Specifically, Prudence’s group of which she becomes the fourth member. Ending things with winking at Nick which may imply, out with the Harvey and in with the Nick.
How Does Season 2 End For Sabrina
After attempting to end the apocalypse by ridding herself of her powers, it almost happening anyway. But Lilith restores them when she becomes queen of hell. But, with Nick having become the vessel of Lucifer and put under a sleeping spell, Sabrina decides she is going to get Nick from hell and figure a way to save him.
Also, she is still dealing with Lucifer being her biological father.
Ross Lynch Plays Harvey Kinkle
First Noted In:
Season 1/ Episode 1 “Chapter 1: October Country”
Who Is Harvey
As of the series premiere, Harvey is just the mortal boyfriend of Sabrina who knows nothing about her other life. Something she wants to reveal to him, especially since they’ve exchanged “I Love You” to one another. However, revealing she is a witch was too much for him, so his memory was wiped of that moment. Making him, for now, just the dutiful boyfriend who knows only but so much about his beloved. Though we do learn, in episode 2, the young man is quite the artist and comes from a coal mining family. One which got the mine by ill means.
Additional Information
- His family comes from witch hunters. In fact, a lot of what his family has comes from killing and stealing from witches.
How Does Season 1 End For Harvey
After what Sabrina did to Tommy, Harvey was having a hard time dealing with that and knowing she is a witch. However, with her sending Nick to protect him, and Nick noting she loves him, it seemed he wanted to give them another chance. But, it seems everything Sabrina was told finally got to her and so she decided to forsake her mortal bonds. Not just because of the whole aging thing but taking note of what Ms. Wardwell said, it seems she may want to follow her father’s path and reform the church. Which, with mortal loved ones, vulnerable in a multitude of ways, she can’t maintain the attachment she currently has for it may lead to them violently dying. As Tommy did – the first time.

He is alive, well, dating Roz but still down for Sabrina’s crazy adventures.

Of the Spellman siblings, Zelda has the airs and graces of the oldest and is definitely, by far, the most conservative, when it comes to the ways of witches. Making it where she and Sabrina will clearly be at odds for Zelda seems much more for tradition than the challenges to the status quo Sabrina has.
[adinserter name=”Character Guide – New”]
Additional Information About Zelda
- While very much a traditionalist, often at ends with Sabrina about her radical feminism, she is a feminist in her own way. She wants power, to be seen as an equal, but she rather obtain her power in more subtle ways rather than have the ship be topside.

Also, she appears well versed in herbs and seems to know a variety of ways to heal ailments and deal with curses.

Tati Gabrielle Plays Prudence
First Noted In:
Season 1/ Episode 1 “Chapter 1: October Country”
Who Is Prudence
Prudence very well might be your stereotypical mean girl character, just with the added bonus of her being willing to murder the person she hates. Said person being Sabrina who, alongside Agatha and Dorcas, she puts a blood curse on. One which could have killed Sabrina if it wasn’t for Aunt Hilda being well versed in cures.
Episode 7 Update
Prudence is an orphan girl who may come off as your stereotypical mean girl, but this senior witch, of the Unseen Academy of the Unseen Arts, does have a soft side. It is just, after losing her mother tragically, it has made Dorcas and Agatha one of the few she trusts. Well, alongside Father Blackwood who dotes on her.

First Noted In:
Season 1/ Episode 1 “Chapter 1: October Country”
Who Is Susie Theo
I don’t want to use the wrong adjectives, but let’s just say Theo, formerly Susie, appears to be someone who is gender non-conforming. At least in appearance for Susie is often referred to as “she.” From what we can see, at Baxter High, she is often bullied for her androgynous looks, even to the point of the football team assaulting her. Thus leading to Sabrina and Roz creating a club so people like Susie can feel protected and aren’t isolated to the point of people feeling capable of taking advantage of them.
Though, by the end of the first season, it seems Susie may not need as much protection as she once did.

That is assuming Ambrose doesn’t just call Sabrina “cousin” as a term of affection.
Season 1 Update
Ambrose is a bi-sexual (some would even say pansexual) young warlock who, with losing his father at a young age, kind of wandered through life. Yet, despite a lack of direction, he ended up in Oxford and eventually found a person who filled the role of being a father for him. Said person is the reason why he ended up on house arrest for 75+ years and Ambrose’s loyalty to him is why he stays on house arrest for an indefinite matter of time.

Notable Holidays & Occasions
Unholy Baptism
This is when a young warlock or witch officially signs their name in the Book of the Beast, swearing themselves to the Dark Lord and becomes part of the coven.
The Harrowing
Formerly, this was a hazing activity done for new students of the Academy of the Unseen arts which has killed a handful of witches and warlocks. Such as Quentin, introduced in season 1.
The Feasts of Feasts
A Thanksgiving adjacent holiday where the 14 great families of the coven put up one woman to be their queen. This centuries-old tradition leads to said queen being devoured in celebration of another witch who sacrificed herself so her fellow witches could survive.
The Solstice
The time of year where the veil between the human world and other world is thin.
Devotion Showing
As part of swearing yourself to the Dark Lord, he may once, maybe multiple times, call on you to question your devotion. Sometimes it is in small gestures like asking you to press a button on a box. Other times it might be ruining someone’s life. It depends of the Dark Lord’s whims.
Lupercalia
The witch’s version of Valentine’s Day is a celebration of lust and about the open expression of urges. Well, to a point. It is still a holiday which is about one on one interaction, but it does end in what could be considered an orgy.
Notable Locations
The Spellman Garden
With soil from Cain’s garden soaked with Abel’s blood, anything buried within the plot comes back to life as seen from Hilda being resurrected multiple times and Agatha as well.
The Astral Plane
While never physically seen, this is the medium which witches use to project themselves across the world. However, if they stay too long these birl like beings, psychopomps, appear for they are unsure if they are a lost soul or not.
Baxter High
Baxter High seemingly is a former mansion turned into a high school where nearly every mortal child goes to on the show.

The Academy of the Unseen Arts
In what looks like an abandon train station is the Academy of the Unseen Arts. A place which is not only a school but is also an orphanage for at least 12 students who live there throughout the year, including holidays.
The Desecrated Church
Despite the size of the Academy, it seems it holds little to any events and instead nearly all coven gatherings, be it meetings or school performances, happens at the desecrated church.
