The End Of The Tusken Tribe – Boba Fett
Thanks to the Kintan Striders, or Nikto Sand Riders, depending upon who you ask, there was no deal from the Pyke Syndicate, and when Boba Fett returned to camp, the Tuskens were wiped out, and he was left on his own.
Time For Recruitment – Drash, Skad, Boba Fett, Fennec
One of the things Boba Fett wants to do differently from past Daimyos is apparently to be a man of the people. Hence, when a business owner comes to him to handle the poor and disenfranchised, Boba Fett not only sides with them but employs them. Thus, Drash, Skad, and other half-man, half-machine gang members join Boba Fett and Fennec’s organization.
Either Leave Or Fight – The Twins, Krrsantan, Skad, Drash, Boba Fett, Fennec, Shaiz’s Majordomo
As The Twins warned, Boba Fett was to sleep lightly, and to follow up their threat, they send their Wookie enforcer, Krrsantan, after Boba Fett in the night, and not a single member of Boba Fett’s team stops him before entry. In fact, it isn’t until Krrsantan is attempting to break Boba Fett’s back does Drash, Skad, and the rest jump in.
Together, they imprison Krrsanatan, which leads to the Twins showing up and noting they will withdraw from Tatooine due to the Pyke Syndicate and not seeing the planet worth a war. However, while they may retreat, it leads to the need to question why the Pyke Syndicate is claiming this land?
The answer? The mayor. Mayor Shaiz promised the land to them, and when Boba Fett and crew go to visit him, all they are met with is his Majordomo, who gives them chase, but ultimately is forced to reveal their boss’ plan and what’s to come.

Understanding Why We Don’t Have The Tuskens In The Present
Considering the struggles Boba Fett is having in terms of gaining respect and certainly needing numbers to maintain his hold over his vassals, there was a need to question where were the Tuskens? Boba Fett set them up to become a powerful force, and we saw in The Mandalorian they still existed. So one can only hope, Boba Fett finds the other tribes, befriends them, unites them, and gets revenge.
New Additions To The Family
I would be lying to you if I said the reason I’m excited about these new additions to Boba Fett’s crew is because they have cool tech or seem badass. I’m just glad to see Thatcher, from YellowJackets, had other gigs lined up. That and she brings the same persona to her role as Drash and might just give this show characters with personality.
Something it direly needs if we’re not going off-world or leaving Mos Espa at all.
What This War Can Bring To The Show
When in doubt, choose violence when you need to compensate for what your show lacks, and I feel that is what we’re being set up for. The Book of Boba Fett, as someone who isn’t a diehard Star Wars fan, just feels bland and without a notable hook. Well, the Tuskens were, but then they got wiped out. So I have my fingers crossed that war will make up for the Power Ranger style fights, wooden characters, and this increasingly seeming like a money grab than a spin-off that should last more than a season.

- Did Boba Fett seek out revenge for his Tusken friends? I get we can’t get two episodes focused on the past in a row but, the Tuskens remain far more interesting than anything modern going on.
- Considering how the Rancor Keeper talks about them, why aren’t they more widely used as both animals to travel on as well as fight?
- Can multiple rancors peacefully acknowledge the same master?
What Could Happen Next
- The Twins returning after Boba Fett’s war, and them hoping it’s an easy cleanup for them
- Us meeting the leaders of the different families that rule Mos Espa
