Just A Boy With A Plan – Sean, Rainey, Nancy, Ashley, Miles, Trish, Terry
In a visual depiction of the game he plays with Ashley and Miles during their prison visits, Sean is a boy trying to free his daddy. He has some allies he believes can help, but then comes Ashley, who isn’t his mom in this scenario, Rainey, Nancy, and Trish, who remains his aunt. But, while he has a host of women standing by his side, ready to even the odds, Deputy Sheriff Terry and his gang, the Niners, are formidable due to their numbers and influence.
However, Trish has a plan to drug Terry, take his keys, and get Miles his freedom. It just may take longer than some have the patience for.
Time To Execute – Sean, Rainey, Nancy, Ashley, Miles, Trish, Terry, Janelle, Earl, Collin, Jacque
Taking down Terry isn’t easy. Yes, his love for whiskey allows some form of vulnerability, but when he wakes up? Oh, he is mad and sets up all those who wish to save Miles, leading to a huge shootout. One in which Jacque is one of the first to die, and that lights a fire under Trish’s behind. Thus, everyone came out, from Nancy and Rainey to Earl, Collin, and even Janelle, to finish the job.
All of the fighting ends, though, as Miles is free and forced to face the sheriff, his evil twin. He blows a hole through that man, but as shown multiple times through this imaginary game, Miles freedom is temporary. Roll call interrupts them, and when it isn’t roll call, it is the realization this is all but a game.
Reality Hits – Miles, Ashley, Sean
But, despite reality hitting Sean hard, he knows his dad loves him, and his mom will take care of him, even with him calling her “Bruh,” despite the side eye that deserves.

Review
On The Fence
While A Filler Episode, It Was Still Entertaining
Nothing about this episode moves the story forward. It purely is about pursuing something different for the show, which, yes, is entertaining, and creates visuals around the outlaw game Ashley, Miles, and Sean play, but nothing more. Which isn’t the worst thing, since how often do we see Black people in Westerns?
But, with that said, this isn’t a show with excessive episodes. The first season only had eight episodes, and likely this one will have the same amount. So to lose an episode to a dream sequence does lead to some mixed feelings.
