Recap

I Command You To Sleep: Demon Lord, Uchimura

With Gnome holding down the fort, and Ulmandra out of action, Uchimura takes a huge weight on his soldiers regarding how to solve this crisis, aka calamity. It leads to him being unable to sleep, dismissing his subordinates for he doesn’t believe they should suffer too, and perhaps noticing Uchimura burning the midnight oil leads to the Demon Lord to check on him, and tell him to sleep neé, order him to sleep.

Due to past trauma, Uchimura is a bit confused by this, but as with the pep talk that led to him accepting the position of General, Uchimura listens to his superior and, feeling fresh and renewed, concocts a plan.

Operation Last Rebellion: Uchimura, Demon Lord, Gnome, Ulmandra

So, it is understood that the wyverns are mainly focused on women, whether demi-human or demon. It isn’t made clear why, be it mating, natural attraction, what have you, but with knowing what they are after, Uchimura concocts a plan. However, what he didn’t factor in was two boss battles. Gnome handles the first wave of the grunts and teams up with a surprise entrant of Ulmandra for the first boss.

But by the second boss, Gnome and Ulmandra are exhausted, and Uchimura clearly can’t fight, so it seems like the end. That is, until the Demon Lord appears and shows, not just in management but in strength, why he is the lord of his own kingdom.

Review

Trajectory (89/100): Climbing

I think all we genuinely needed was for the Demon Lord to show up and show out. As a leader, he is firm but supportive and enviable. However, one thing that was missing is just seeing the strength and power of the Demon Lord. For in my mind, with him always in the throne room, while respected, everything was based on assumptions. But seeing him in action sets a tone that helps you understand why he has these brilliant minds on his side, never mind a loyal following beyond the likes of his fellow demons.
