Ai Ohto (Kanata Aikawa)

Since the death of her friend, Ai doesn’t go to school. Not to imply she was necessarily a social butterfly before that, for it took Koito quite a bit of effort to win over Ai. However, while she enjoyed the opportunity to have a friend, Ai wasn’t consistently there when Koito needed her most. So when given the opportunity to possibly bring her back to life, she takes it.

One of Ai’s few, if only friends, who she made work hard to befriend her. Mind you, Koito was the new girl and Ai established, so it was awkward for Koito, but she pushed through it and did eventually win her over. However, thanks to their classmates, Koito was eventually pushed to commit suicide, which Ai has carried the guilt of.

Rika is a former pop idol who was raised on the idea beautiful women don’t, and shouldn’t, pay for anything. But, despite her claims of beauty and seeming confidence, based on previous self-harm, and other issues, a lot of it might be a facade.

When Rika was a junior idol, Cheimi was one of her biggest fans! She’d even steal and sell things just to maintain the ability to hang out with Rika, in the form of fan meet events. But, with Rika making fun of her weight, Cheimi became anorexic and eventually died. Thus, she is the person Rika is trying to save.

Originally, Frill was a shared child between Acca and Ura-Acca who was supposed to be based on a semi-perfect 14-year-old girl. However, while once cheerful, intelligent, and funny, she soon devolved into being insecure and jealous as Azusa came onto the scene.

Now she is treated as the potential reason for the death of many in Acca and Ura-Acca’s minds, but they can’t prove it yet.
