Terminology

In the original timeline, humans won the war over 100 years ago. In the reincarnation timeline, the war was only 30+ years ago, and humanity lost and retreated underground.
- Heroes (S1E1): It is noted each group had a hero. Humans have Prophet Sid, Dark Empress Vanessa led the demons, Heavenly Lord Alfreya led the Celestials, Rikugen Kyoko was the sovereign of spirits, and the Mythical Beasts’ hero was the Fang King Rath=IE.

- Humans Using Other Races Items (1.3): When humans use items from other races, like Elven or Angelic items that contain magic, it chips away at their health.
- Enemies (1.6): Celestials and Demons are enemies, as are spirits and mythical beasts; humans are of non-consequence, which makes all four races the enemies of humans.
Shoya Chiba As Kai
Kai is a military man. After a special moment he shared with Jeanne’s father, visiting the pyramid graveyard where demons are held, he was hooked, he became committed, and now pushes himself to be one of the best in humanity, even though most consider the war over with no chance of restarting.
