Plot Overview
Things are split in two for this episode. We see what you can assume are the last days of a noteworthy assassin at the tail end of the episode, and the beginning is the life he was reincarnated into.
Characters
The Assassin (Junpei Morita)
Isolated for most of his life, but due to that becoming one of the top assassins in the world, only a hijacked plan could end the Assassin’s life. However, in the long run, while the body died the spirit lives on.
Things To Note | Question(s) Left Unanswered
Question(s) Left Unanswered
- So will we skip watching the Assassin get raised and go straight to them getting put on missions in their new life?
What Could Happen Next
- Considering how heartless they were raised to be in the past, I think they will deal with having connections, love, and the challenge of being the best while having liabilities in this new life.

Highlights
It’s Different
Beyond an obnoxiously long title, The World’s Finest Assassin has perhaps the most interesting pre-life to carry over into the reincarnated life. The Assasin isn’t someone whose life was lame, depressing, or unnotable. They were a true top assassin, and while they did lack personal connections, as shown with the assistant they were given, this came with advantages and disadvantages. Yes, they didn’t really trust anyone and didn’t really know how to build a healthy relationship, but clearly, they didn’t lack a sense of humor just because they didn’t have someone to play off of.
So with a life outside of the Organization promised, it should be interesting to see how much of his old self is kept and how much he’ll change. Currently, it seems the Assassin’s new life has him far more interactive with people and combine that with him dealing with magic and the most wicked of people to kill? Things are looking up for The World’s Finest Assassin.
Initial Impression
If the beginning of the episode is a preview of what’s to come, we could have a winner here. There is just the need to question whether or not there is an end game, besides killing the hero of the fantasy world, and what the journey will be like towards that goal? But, as of now, this definitely seems worth seeing.
