Ready To Love: Make A Move: Season 1/ Episode 7 “Mixin’ It Up” – Episode Recap/ Review
In an episode more dedicated to who is getting kicked than who is staying, it increasingly is hard to say if any of the ladies may find what they are looking for.
Plot Recap
It’s About Time, Attention, And Respect – Kirston, Mizell, Cameron, Ashlee, Zadia, Verneashia, Tamica, Shareese, Tabari
Kirston wastes Ashlee’s time. He doesn’t show up to Zadia’s party, doesn’t make an excuse, or really fight for Ashlee when she addresses the issue. He checks out, so she dismisses him and seemingly only becomes more frustrated. The same almost became true for Zadia, for while Cameron does show up, and there are conversations about him making time, there remains the problem of not feeling like a priority and dating a workaholic. Mind you, she appreciates his ambition, but his time management not putting her to the forefront is an issue.
As for Verneashia and Shareese? Verneashia keeps Tabari and almost finds herself potentially having an interest in Mizell. However, with his lack of communication skills pushing the idea he was trying to be a player by quickly getting into Verneashia’s orbit and doing so without talking to Shareese? Tamica felt the need to address it quickly, and with him stumbling, Shareese directs him to stumble and trip outside the door, and with seeing how that went down, Verneashia has 0 interest.
Back On The Dating Scene – Trey, Mike, Will, Brandon, Ashlee, Zadia, Verneashia, Shareese
With Ashlee and Shareese operating without a keeper, things are getting interesting. Luckily, Brandon is able to come back, so Ashlee finds little reason to entertain her blind dates, Trey and Mike, and Verneashia, with Mike being too young at 31 and Trey not saying anything of not, seems to not complicate her current match.
As for Zadia and Shareese? Zadia is still very stuck on Cameron, so Brandon gets little to no attention and Shareese? While Will seems sweet, he has a 6-year-old, and you know Shareese doesn’t do baggage.
This Is New Information – Ashlee, Donald
As it becomes clear most ladies are very much “Eh” when it comes to their current keeper, special attention is paid to Ashlee and Donald. He is the first one to come back, mainly by him showing improve, so there is some joy in this reunion. However, as he pushes the idea all of his past relationships ended terribly, and he was married previously? Ashlee may not be ready to cut him off, but new worries do pop up.
New Character Description(s)
Trey
Trey is a 38-year-old warehouse manager for a garage oil company that covers four regions, and at night, he is a personal trainer.
Mike
Mike is a military veteran who served for nine years and messed up his knee due to a vehicular accident in Afghanistan. But, since his military career, he has worked as a project manager in construction, and his longest relationship was six years. Thus, the 31-year-old is probably one of the most interesting of the men we’ve met on paper.
Brandon
Brandon is a 43-year-old personal trainer.
Will
Will is a 39-year-old community engagement manager at a facility that supports fatherless boys. He has been in New Orleans for five years, has a six-year-old, and has never been married.
Collected Quote(s)
It’s not time to listen, it’s time to talk.

Notable Performances or Moments
Tamica
Tamica has grown on me. She isn’t just there for the drama and adding some oil to the fire. She is willing to help the men, the ladies, address communication issues, and truly be a valued facilitator of the process. I dare say, if there are additional seasons of the main line, she could replace or co-host with Tommy.
On The Fence
While Relationships Are Tough, It Feels Like No One Is Going To Get What They’re Looking For
Right now, the person with the best bet is Zadia and Cameron, and one could question, with the work he does and her rightful expectations, are they a really good match? She appreciates his ambition, but it is clearly the right match at the wrong time.
Then, as for everyone else, it seems that Ashlee keeps getting paired with people who may fit her physical type but aren’t where she needs them to be mentally and emotionally. For Verneashia, yes, she loves an entrepreneurial guy, but she needs one who is social but isn’t silly. She wants that serious mans man type.
Lastly, with Shareese? I feel like they have an understanding of what her type is, but finding men who can be consistent, communicative, adventurous, and allow her to embrace her femininity? It seems that is a challenge. And granted, does she cut off those who are a bit iffy quickly? Yes. Almost all the ladies do as they know there are still remaining options. However, as said before, it seems there isn’t a strong reason to work on what is in front of any of the ladies as there is always someone waiting in the wings.
