Synopsis

A married woman, Nandi, goes on a weekend trip away from home, where she meets a handsome stranger. While sparks and lust take over Nandi’s better judgment, the trip ends in a violent tragedy with the death of Nandi’s friend. Nandi isn’t sure who to trust, as her closest loved ones all have secrets to keep that prevent Nandi from discovering who committed the murder and why.

Nandi (Kgomotso Christopher)

Nandi is a college professor and a frustrated wife. After suffering a miscarriage, Nandi and her husband haven’t been intimate or had any loving connection.  Nandi is tempted by another man and sleeps with him, but she is quickly entrapped in a web of lies and violence afterwards.

Leonard (Thapelo Mokoena)

Leonard is Nandi’s husband and a judge who, at one point, made a legal choice that haunts him to this day. Leonard can be a cold and distant father and husband, but he still loves his family and will do whatever he can to protect them.

Jacob (Prince Grootboom)

Jacob is a young, handsome, and mysterious man who immediately attracts Nandi, and the two have an affair. Jacob’s secret agenda may be to get revenge on Leonard for sending Jacob’s father to prison, but he also develops a strong love for Nandi.

Zinhle (Ngelekanyo Ramulondi)

Zinhle is the daughter of Nandi and Leonard. She’s an astute student who loves her parents, but when it comes to love, Zinhle can be a tad clueless and starts sharing with an anonymous stranger over her phone.

Vuyo (Nathaniel Ramabulana)

Vuyo is Leonard’s brother and a retired cop. Vuyo was in love with Brenda and is investigating who possibly killed her. Tensions between Vuyo and Nandi rise when he discovers that she’s cheating on his brother.
