While “Abigail” certain has developed characters that could derive interest, the story is made to only be good enough if the only thing you desire is the type of violence only a vampire movie could have.
“Scream 6” is entertaining, but its existence feels more about the last film being profitable more than this franchise still having something to say.
Despite a level of self-awareness that all may not enjoy, Scream does act as an excellent reminder on why only the horror genre can get away with “requels.”
Ready or Not closes summer 2019 as one if the best films of the summer, and will likely be one of the top horrors of the year.
