You Ever Get The Feeling We’re Being Watched? – Leanne, Julian, Dorothy
Dorothy has had enough and is getting desperate. Leanne is back to having sex with Julian, and increasingly it seems Dorothy is the only one who sees the worst in Leanne, and she doesn’t get why. So, she begins to gather hard proof so that if she can’t get anyone in the household to get rid of Leanne, she can have her committed and away from her family.
Setting Things Up – Dorothy, Frank, Leanne
So, what’s the setup? First, it is getting images of Leanne’s back from when she would self-flagellate. Following that, Dorothy works with her dad to get a psychologist to the house. The idea is that they’ll see Leanne is crazy, and then off she goes. However, Frank may have other plans.
Backfire – Dorothy, Frank, Leanne, Dale, Julian, Sean
Everything is set up to how she wants it. Dorothy has convinced meeting with Dr. Dale MacKenzie is just a therapy session that could help Leanne deal with childhood trauma and work things out. Yes, Julian tries to run interference, but Dorothy is able to handle him, and he goes away. Which ends up being to Dorothy’s benefit since Julian calls Sean, who arrives just in time to save Dorothy.
From what? Oh, from Dale thinking maybe Dorothy needs to be committed. You see, Frank doesn’t see the problem with Leanne. He sees it with his daughter, who he believes is a threat to Jericho. Luckily, Sean shows up and advocates for his wife, but, in the end, the only one who loses here is Dorothy since she is forced to hand Jericho to Leanne so that she isn’t seen as unhinged or crazy. Which hopefully gets her to understand who she is messing with.

Dorothy Remaining Oblivious To Leanne’s Influence and Powers
At what point is Dorothy going to get it? Right now, she seems to be the only one who doesn’t understand Leanne has some kind of magical powers, and it is strange how completely ignorant of that she is. Now, don’t get me wrong, I get because of how she was placated for a good part of her life, she is used to having her way and not having to care about other people unless she was being paid for it.
But at this point, Dorothy is finally asking questions, and I need her to realize the answer was staring her in the face all this time.
Not Feeling Like Much Of A Penultimate Episode For The Season
What’s there to be excited about? Yes, Milo is missing, and we’ve seen the Church of Lesser Saints attempt to attack Leanne, but most of the season seemingly felt about Dorothy’s fall from grace at work. A storyline that has done the season no favors and continues to feel like, regarding the focus on Dorothy, the show forcing her on us to the point that it’s like we should hate every time she appears on the screen.
Which leaves me to ask, what is it we’re supposed to look forward to? Dorothy getting a proper comeuppance after all she has tried to do? Maybe her seeing the light and perhaps saving Leanne when attacked? What’s the end game here? What’s the goal? I am having trouble understanding what the reason to watch this show is anymore?
