- Intro Slide
- Recap: It’s 1863, and Jinya is not only learning to cook but also making notable money since the anxiety of the economy changing has led to more demons awakening.
- Recap: Hence, he goes to the Mizugo Temple, where a four-tailed fox demon awaits him, but with using Skyedge, he quickly dispatches of the demon and absorbs their power.
- Recap: This leads to the “Falsehood” power being taken, and Jinya being sent to a false existence where a woman named Yunagi is Jinya’s wife and mother of his child.
- Recap: But the dream doesn’t last forever. However, the child in the dream, whom Jinya names Nomari, exists outside the dream, and to much surprise, Jinya adopts her.
- Review: It was certainly questioned who, or what, the child was in the preview and end credits, since Jinya doesn’t date, and it didn’t seem he would ever make a move on Ofuu.
- Review: But, while the child could cause a shake-up in Sword of the Demon Hunter, there are no promises there.
- Review: Granted, the show could do a time jump to when she is as young as Jinya was when he left home with Suzune, which could help things immensely, but who knows if that is in the cards.
- Review: Heck, who knows, with Suzune surely lurking about, if she may come back into the picture since Jinya now has an unquestionable weakness – who isn’t even blood related to make Suzune feel guilty.
- Review: Either way, here is hoping something of interest comes of this, and maybe Nomari can give Sword of the Demon Hunter some much-needed direction.
- Overall (80/100): Jinya’s fantasy of a more normal life may not have done much for the almost aimless show, but with him adopting a kid, maybe Nomari can bring something to the show that everyone else has struggled to: purpose.
