There was a time I wished Netsuzou Trap was more than 9 minutes but now I am so glad it is not longer than it is.

You Belong With Me: Yuma, Hotaru, Takeda

Yuma decides to rejoin the maid café to keep an eye on Hotaru. Not so much because she is worried but Fujiwara noting Hotaru is trying to get away from her makes her even more possessive. Yet, to keep up with Hotaru means lying about going to cram school and her mom catches her in that lie – arguably because Hotaru sets her up.

But, after some time, the lying and trying to keep up with Hotaru leads Yuma to get sick. Something Takeda is the first to discover so he has her go to the infirmary. Following that, he sends Takeda to give Yuma her things and as Hotaru notes she doesn’t want Yuma working at the café and they get flirty, Yuma kisses Hotaru.

This comes as a bit of a shock but Hotaru is down. Problem is, not too long after the consent is given Takeda sees them in action.

Commentary

Can you tell how over this show I am? This back and forth, hot and cold, cycling of will Hotaru and Yuma be together or not – I’m tired of it. For while a lot of anime this season are getting more interesting as they hit their final episodes, it is just more of the same with Netsuzou Trap. Which is a bit disappointing.

But what makes it worse is I’m not even sure how this could rebound? Yuma and Hotaru coming out and actually dating perhaps? There is an option, but you know they are going to drag out that possibility to the very end. Something I don’t honestly know if I can survive. For even with this being 9 minutes out of the week, I’m just loyal because this is short.
