Can’t It Be Like Old Times? – Leanne, Dorothy, Sean, Julian
Leanne desperately wants to use this time when Dorothy is so vulnerable to bond with her, but she only finds herself constantly rejected. Leanne has somehow put a spell on the household, and Dorothy doesn’t see this time as a means to heal old wounds, she sees this all as Leanne trying to isolate her.
Which, she isn’t wrong. Leanne has Sean go to work, and Julian cook, so she can have Dorothy all to herself, and all this leads to is hurtful things being said and done. All of which leads Dorothy to try to hold back her rage, and the house and neighborhood, via bed bugs, suffering because of it.
Mounting A Defense For A Long War – Kourtney, Tobe, Leanne, Dorothy, Sean, Julian
It isn’t just with Dorothy Leanne is having problems. Julian isn’t being the best boyfriend and is starting to pull away again since Dorothy is home. On top of that, Sean, while Leanne seems to continue to bless him, is sort of getting in the way of Leanne’s goals. Which only makes Tobe seem like someone who is some sense of an ally – if not the one who got away.
But how much time can Leanne focus on that with Dorothy, after Leanne trusted her with her phone, called in Kourtney, hired live-in nurses, and made it clear she will refuse to give in, for she sees Leanne as the epitome of evil.
Things To Note
What Could Happen Next
- Leanne is likely to kill Dorothy by accident and maybe end up destroyed by her own grief and rage

Highlights
What Will Happen When Leanne Loses Restraint
We’ve seen what Leanne is capable of when it comes to defending herself, but Dorothy is something different. This is a relationship evolving from love to hate, and Dorothy is making all the exact moves necessary for Leanne to not have a single reason to question whether Dorothy’s actions are on purpose. I mean, having her pee splash all over Leanne after she was trying to make sure she didn’t wet the bed? Is there really any coming back from that?
Add in hiring two live-in nurses who look like they can be from the church? It’s like Dorothy wants to die and have Leanne make it look like something beyond an accident but rather a suicide.
Tobe and Leanne
It’s sad that Tobe and Leanne never really got the chance to date and be together. There were moments and times that seemed like a possibility, but between him drugging and kidnapping her, dating that awful girl, and Leanne getting with Julian, actions, and timing have always been off. But, with it sometimes seeming Leanne could do to the Turners what she may have done to hers, maybe those two could walk off into the sunset – which really is just the light from Leanne burning down the neighborhood.
On The Fence
Not That Leanne vs. Dorothy Isn’t Interesting, But What About Uncle George?
Is Leanne withholding Jericho from Dorothy notable? In some ways. Is the chaos stemming from the bed bug infestation make you wonder if Leanne can potentially do biblical-level events? Yes. But I do wonder if the focus being too split could be an issue. Leanne fighting off two old ladies, while facing a religious cult, can it be done in such a way that pays off and doesn’t feel like a desperate attempt to end this series on a high note?
This is the final season, and anytime we recommend “Servant,” it has been an uphill battle to get people to remain interested because there is such a carrot dangle vibe when watching. So, I can only hope, as entertaining as Leanne vs. Dorothy can be, it doesn’t take away from the Church of the Lesser Saints coming to Spruce Street and ready to either retrieve or maybe even kill, Leanne.
