Overview
“Accused” is an anthology series focused on a different crime in each episode. It begins in current times, with us seeing the defendant after they have been arrested, then some flashbacks that provide the defendant’s point of view regarding what happened. The installments feature what often are ordinary people with novel lives, but sometimes you’re provided emotional stories which can trigger strong feelings.
Season 1
In season one, for example, there are cases dealing with sexual assault, self-defense, school shootings, the poisoning of an indigenous community, mental illness, terrorism, an offense against a child, and more.
