Brief Description

One of the leaders of the Pogues, he has been without parental supervision for about 9 months, and because of that, it seems his life has slowly descended. First, in terms of the looks of his home and following that was his grades. Though add in being told his dad is dead, and his supposed guardian, Uncle T, in a whole other state, you could understand why John B’s life is a mess.

At least until he discovers something which hints to the possibility his dad is alive.

    • Mom abandoned him and dad when he was 3, and it is assumed she is in Colorado.
    • He believes his uncle, Uncle T, is in Mississippi.

Brief Description

Touted as the smart one in the group, who often mentions being on track for a merit scholarship, Pope is sort of an outlier amongst the Pogues. His intelligence and eccentricity presents him as a possible Kook, but due to his finances, he is a Pogue. But as he makes clear, while very much a Pogue, he has little desire to end up like JJ and his family.

The daughter of a Kook, yet less condescending than most, Sarah is considered the princess of her people and was a friend of Kiara’s at one time. However, something ended their friendship, and now Kiara can’t stand her, despite them both seemingly caring about animals and the environment.

Hurricane Agatha

A hurricane that passes through in season 1, episode 1 that impedes DCS from visiting John B, for a home visit, and leads to a ship being found by John B and his friends – thus allowing the mystery to begin.
