How Did It End?

We learn that Maggie has escaped from her life, without telling her husband, Ben, because she is pregnant, scared, and unsure of whether she can be a good mother. Taking note of her decision to run when her family needs her most, she looks to her father, who left her and her brother Bucky just when everything felt safe and normal.

Unfortunately, he has no answers as to why he left, but he can reassure her that she isn’t like him. She is a little lost right now but very dedicated to things once she commits to them. After all, look at her traveling 18 hours, 2,000 miles, on a hunch of where Lloyd lived, since he doesn’t have any means to be contacted and doesn’t respond back to mail.

Is There Sequel/ Prequel Potential?

It isn’t clear what ailment Lloyd is dealing with that leads him to suddenly tune out, but I can’t imagine a home movie dedicated to that and meeting Ben and the family Lloyd left behind. There is enough there to explore, but this doesn’t seem like the kind of film that would get a sequel.
