Season Overview
Xylo, a now disgraced former captain, has been punished to become a hero. While in our world, such a title is an honor, in the world of the Federated Kingdom, it is one of the most severe punishments imaginable. You are a front-line soldier who, if you die, will either be resurrected in your body or another, with your memories becoming fractured more and more each time you are revived.
This is all for the war against the Demon Lord, of which at least 36 have appeared and potentially died in Xylo’s lifetime. But, for the war to be won, beings known as Goddesses have to be used, and for Xylo, amongst his many crimes, killing a goddess in the past is one of the key reasons the military, the temple, and the Federated Kingdom have sealed his fate.
