Episode 6 “The Art of Managing People” Details

Originally Aired: February 3, 2025
Network: Crunchyroll
Director(s): To Be Determined
Writer(s): Hiroko Fukuda

Recap

With the promise of riches, Uchimura perhaps has his greatest task in negotiating with the temperamental Rampage King. To make matters all the more challenging, Uchimura goes alone, without Ulmandra as an escort or even with Ululu. This means that the very much human Uchimura shall be face to face with the Rampage King, the ruler of the Golden Country, who has lightning powers.

At first, things don’t seem to go well, but we’re told this was part of Uchimura’s plan. He uses an anchoring technique before introducing the Rosemarin crystals which the Rampage King tests, on the spot. With seeing it work, he originally orders millions of gold worth of it, driving Sylphid to work harder, alongside their employees, only for the orders to suddenly stop.

Why? Well, the same pig who caused a crisis in the last episode, Butagalrian, has seemingly found a way to replicate Rosemarin crystals at a far cheaper price point. So, despite the agreements made, the Rampage King pulls out and leaves Uchimura to apologize to everyone for pushing them so hard in an attempt to sway an untrustworthy ally.

Trajectory

Trajectory (84/100): Plateau

With another business lesson in the bag and the introduction of two characters who can cause long-term headaches, if not antagonists, “Headhunted To Another World” continues to chug along well. Add in the Demon Overlord continuing to be an ideal boss and really, the only thing worth complaining about is no introduction to unquestionable adversaries to what the Demon Overlord is ultimately looking to do.

Questions Worth Asking

  1. What are the chances that one of the Elite Generals are working with Butagalrian?
