In The Time Span Of A Month – Zanoba, Rudy, Julie, Sylphie
For a moment, you may think this episode will be from Sylphie’s perspective as we see her morning routine is also running, like Rudy’s. However, after showing her in class and spending time with the princess, things shift over to Rudy, Julie, and Zanoba, and we learn Julie is making quite a bit of progress.
In a month, she is already doing incantation-less magic, learning human words, and while technically a slave, she is seen and treated more like an apprentice. Now, as for how the administration feels about two young adults with someone who can barely speak and is not even seven living with them and spending time with them, no one says, and it seems no one cares.
Sacrilegious – Zanoba, Julie, Rudy, Sylphie, Linia, Pursena
With Rudy worshipping Roxy like a goddess, he is not happy when he learns from Zanoba that Linia and Pursena broke the statue he made of her. This leads to him feeling the need to get revenge, and this begins by challenging Linia and Pursena to a fight, quickly subduing them, and then having them held in Rudy’s room, bound, gagged, and vulnerable.
Julie helps with this and watches, which makes this all the more strange, and Rudy, just to see if he is at the point of getting an erection yet, gropes Pursena with no physical response. Naturally, both Linia and Pursena expect the worst after him doing that, but Rudy doesn’t want their punishment to be something that causes issues or revenge.
Enter Sylphie, who learns of the situation, and her idea is to just draw on the girls and make it seem like the best punishment is for them to look ridiculous for twenty-four hours. Which, strangely, may lead to Linia and Pursena letting this go despite Rudy groping them, starving them for a day, leaving them to pee on themselves, insulting them, and invoking the name of Gyes and Ghislaine, albeit without insults, but still making it clear that he knows Linia’s family and yet still did this.
Do You Want To See? – Sylphie, Rudy
After everyone leaves, it is just Sylphie and Rudy, and he lets her explore his room, sans his temple to Roxy’s panties. Note: He did show everyone previously when he was ranting and raving at Linia and Pursena, but he fears Fitz may not be ready for such a sacred item. So, Fitz settles on touching and checking out a lot of things, and when they come across a pillow, they lie down and tease the idea of removing their glasses.
Now, Rudy, with mixed emotions about what he feels towards Fitz, is curious about what they look like beneath those glasses. However, with Sylphie unsure what they want from Rudy, beyond maybe to thank him for all the education and training he provided as children, she rescinds the opportunity under the guise that she isn’t actually allowed to remove them.
Predictions
The Mid-Season Finale Will Have Rudy Realize Mr. Fitz is Sylphie.

So, Being Groped Is Just Something You Let Go And Laugh Off?
I guess we’re back to the point where the show wants to remind you that Rudy is neither a nice nor a good person. Yes, he has grown, but he is still a pervert, and he has an undeniable darkness. But, while that is disturbing enough, I can’t let go of how Linia and Pursena were in a position where both seemed to believe they were going to be further assaulted, maybe even raped, yet after all is said and done, they are rather calm, calling Rudy master, and just leap out of his window like they were hanging out.
These are the kind of episodes that remind me that, whenever I recommend this show, I always have to put in an asterisk because it goes places worth side-eyeing anyone who thinks this show is great.
Did Sylphie Really Sweep Under The Rug Rudy Assaulting A Woman After Overpowering Them – Nevermind Having A Child Involved?
On that note, bad enough Linia and Pursena swept all of this under the rug, but Sylphie did too? Zanoba, I can understand since his brother was a weirdo, and who knows what he has done and gotten away with, beyond murder, as a prince. However, Sylphie was explicitly told what Rudy did, already seemed a bit worried he’d be like Luke and the rest of the Notos family, and yet when given the proof of what he is capable of, she still has some kind of attraction to him? She doesn’t scold what he did or is doing to the girls? Never mind getting Julie involved?
I don’t think I qualify as a prude or conservative, after all, I watched “Redo of Healer,” which was far more brutal than this, to the point of being heavily censored. Yet, I must admit, how this episode downplays what Rudy did, paired with how nonchalant he was about buying a child slave in the last episode? It’s one of those things which really forces you to reflect on your interest and tolerance level.
Like, I know I can watch, even enjoy, some messed up material, like “Martyrs,” but should I be able to? Or is it that, based on my feelings from watching this, I’m desensitized to violence, maybe even revenge which is of the same energy? Yet, someone escalating the situation like Rudy did over a statue he knows he can fix, maybe even make more detailed, is taking it too far?
