  1. Excellent episode, Donald Glover shows that they can walk and do very well not only in comedy, irony, racial and social criticism, but also in horror. Teddy Perkins is a scary, melancholy, secretive character. The reference to Michael Jackson and all the family drama of other black celebrities who had problems with their parents are pointed out. Ironically Teddy Perkins speaks of the creation of a “Museum of Parents” who had to sacrifice their children for their development, that the path of pain and sacrifice was necessary. Darius ends up, in the end, being moved, because he was also a victim as a child. But in a final moment, he points out, that things could be completely different, that instead of pain, repression, sacrifice, it is possible through love to achieve results. But both Teddy Perkins, his brother Benny and Darius are victims and results of a repressive, abusive and destructive upbringing. The final song “Evil” by Stevie Wonde brilliantly caps this excellent and terrifying episode.
