http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKeRnyFIHWs Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Emerald City presents Oz to be a mix between The Shannara Chronicles and Games of Thrones, with its sexual content and violence hinted at or off-screen. For with its complicated politics, secrets, and sense of culture, yet performances which are only good enough to make you like the characters, but…
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Like most indie movies, Between Us seems either written for one niche demographic or just made to please its creator. For with its musing and how the relationship between Diane and Henry progresses, surely this movie wasn’t made for your entertainment, pleasure, and consumption. Noted Actor(s) Diane (Olivia Thirlby) | Henry…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Jy6_Fp_fco Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Demi-chan wa Kataritai reminds me of Zootopia. For despite the cuteish nature of the previews, it deals with prejudice, being uncomfortable in knowing you are a minority and having to dispel and avoid stereotypes.
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) There is a potential love triangle coming soon and it is between two girls for Yuu. One we already know, Fuuka, but the other is Koyuki. Leaving us with two girls who seem like the perfect match for Yuu’s heart.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Oh11GzrFn8 Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) As opposed to Seiren, Fuuka delivers what a person would want and desire from a first episode. The boy may still be generic, but the girl more than compensates for that. Making it so when they get close and he notes they aren’t a couple, but she responds with “We…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_hKXW7zKMw Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Trying to figure out what you are going to do with your life, when it has been guided by teachers and parents more than yourself, is daunting. Luckily there are always friends to guide you, and many a potential love interest to distract you.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybpmPUMK_WY Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) I want you to imagine Izetta: The Last Witch and up the violence while toning down how memorable some of the supporting characters are. In episode one “The Devil of the Rhine” that’s what you get. But believe me when I say this show will likely far surpass the best…
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Hidden Figures is a feel good movie. One that exemplifies what the term edutainment means and there ain’t a bad performance in it. However, don’t expect it to win any major awards. Trigger Warning(s): Racism (Microaggressive Depiction – No Violence) Noted Actor(s) Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson) | Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zulhtadjYwI Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) You remember one of your first real crushes? I’m talking about in elementary school where holding hands was the most intimate thing ever. Well, imagine, or remember, feeling rejected. Makabe remembers. Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) There are many ways to handle the death of a person, be it in a movie or in life and through animation, the point of view of a son, the point of view of a mother, and each finding their own way to deal with things, we are given a story…
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) There is a certain realness it seems Star is trying to have. Be it addressing Rich Black privilege, self-medicating/ addiction, or even something as small as noting when girls go to the bathroom it can stink like hell too. Making it so it almost seems like Daniels, with this show, is…
Rose Leslie is kind of an odd actress. In television shows, she can possess these varied characters you latch onto and who you get pissed, and maybe cry over when they leave. Yet her movie career, thus far, she hasn’t been able to find those type of characters who remind you why you watch production…
Overview An introduction to a possibly sad story. Review (with Spoilers) In preparation for the movie which is to come out August 22nd of this year, and star Chloe Grace Moretz, I am doing a chapter by chapter series, which in July I hope to accelerate. Now, will it actually take me to August to…
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) With the custody of Jacob on the line, how far will Letty go to keep him is a question asked and answered.
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Perhaps like many, one of the first shows that made me a loyal viewer of FreeForm, then ABC Family, was Kyle XY. Since then the network hasn’t had too many sci-fi shows in their primetime lineup. Fantasy shows, yes. But sci-fi dramas? Not so much. So with Believe you have to…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpt-adOMqwk Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Since Downton Abbey ended, and Skins called it quits, there has been a hole left for a decent British drama in my life. One which I was hoping Delicious could fill but… sadly it is as delicious as a microwave dinner. Noted Actor(s) Leo (Iain Glen) | Gina (Dawn French)…
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) When a movie gets pulled from a release schedule or pushed back, it leads you to believe it must be downright horrible. However, About Ray or Three Generations isn’t bad at all. It just, unfortunately, tries to balance out the mother’s personal drama with her trans son. Trigger Warning(s): Transphobia (One…
Trigger Warning(s): Violence Against a Woman
Overview Because of Mr. Robot’s format, we are in a constant state of questioning what is real or not? Heck, maybe even what is embellished or not. So when you see White Rose, is she real? When Elliot sees anyone, be it the characters we believe to be alive or otherwise, are they who they…

Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) Like vampires, zombies have been an abused monster sect of which not only are there very few new and interesting depictions of, but there has been a lack of diversity. Yet now such isn’t the case for now there is a zombie movie starring an adorable Black girl. Who just so…

Everything, Everything is similar to Recovery Road in terms of format. It is setup like a diary, though unlike Recovery Road it has pictures, and each would be chapter is short. However, with a movie coming up this August, starring Amandla Stenberg and Anika Noni Rose, you know I couldn’t resist. Though, let me tell you, this is by no means the best YA novel I’ve ever read.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXY_5EcICCM Recap With a few reveals and perhaps a victory, it seems things are about to change on Mr. Robot. It is hard to tell though which direction they may change considering how one reveal could change all we know. Trigger Warning(s): Attempted Rape Major Characters Elliot | Ray | Angela | Joanna Wellick
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrVBGf-u-0A Recap With Ray now taking over Elliot’s life, he is out of the picture so Darlene, once more, has to take command. Thankfully, Angela is more capable than she appears. Though with Dominique surviving that Chinese onslaught, everyone still has so much to worry about. Trigger Warning(s): Blood | Needle Injection Major Characters Elliot…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xht5voIwGR4 Recap Dominique’s investigation heads to China, Elliot snoops into Ray’s business, and Angela technically joins F-Society. Trigger Warning(s): Gun Violence | Needles Major Characters Dominique | Darlene | Angela | Elliot
Overview/ Review (with Spoilers) LGBT films are a bit of an odd bunch.
