Summary
- Ashaf and Guideau take the episode off as a new case needing the Order of Magical Resonance needs someone who is a necromancy specialist.
- Enter Phanora and her right hand and servant, Johan, who helps a local cop with an unregistered insurgence of the undead.
- This leads them to discover the person behind creating over 40 undead redheads who he has already used to begin his grand plans.
Review
- Switching to a different member of the Order of Magical Resonance did bring a bit of a boost to “The Witch and the Beast.”
- However, with Phanora and Johan not being the most interesting of characters, while we continue to be impressed by the lore, we aren’t by the characters.
- Also, as it becomes clear each case has a formula, it makes too much about “The Witch and the Beast” come off as interchangeable from case to case.
