Recap

New Faces – Donovan, Tina, Wiley, Precious

Donovan smiling
Tina joining Ready To Love

With Wiley struggling due to his age and Precious not having the strongest connections, both are given the final blind date opportunity of the season. Donovan meets Precious, and while he notes he likes tall women, it seems Precious talking sexually becomes a major turn-off. As for Tina and Wiley? It seems Wiley may finally get some reciprocity since both are looking to be a Martin and Gina couple. Which, with all the giggling, it seems the foundation is set. However, Wiley is cautious about thinking they are a set couple now, since he needs to see their cerebral connection.

I See What You’re Doing – Laverne, Joi, Clifton, Precious, Paul, Tina, Sabrina, Demetrius, Tory, DaKiya, Eric, Carmen

Laverne may struggle with most of the women who believe they should be chased, but with Joi, he is having a good time. They flirt heavy, joke, but things don’t get deep. Clifton remains the only man with whom Joi has had a deep conversation, and while Clifton does note he has some interest in Carmen, his main squeeze is Joi.

But, that isn’t the only connection in which Carmen comes second. With having a history with Eric, due to hiring him in the past, Carmen seemed to think she and Eric have something going. However, the truth is that he is just humoring her as DaKiya is his top girl.

Now, as for other women with two men interested in them? That person is Sabrina, who has both Demetrius and Tory chasing her. Well, at least Tory is, which Sabrina likes and appreciates, but it is made clear that she wants Demetrius. It’s just, be it ego or wanting to adhere to gender roles, she isn’t going to chase that man and do too much.

Oh, speaking of doing too much, many, like Paul and Demetrius, seem to think Precious is doing too much, and with this accusation, you can see Paul shift towards Tina, and Demetrius realizes Sabrina might be the only woman for him here.

Cliffhanger Elimination – AP, Precious

The bottom two for this episode are Precious and AP. Precious is in the bottom two because, as she notes, her strong personality has been an issue in the past. However, alongside that, it is that, while we’ve seen others flirt and be sexual, like Joi, it seems Precious is picking the types who aren’t feeling what she is putting out there. Thus multiple men appear to be uncomfortable.

As for AP? Like Precious, no guy has her in their top. The main reason we hear is that some men think she isn’t ready to date after the death of her husband. But we’ll have to wait until next week to see which will be eliminated.

What Could Happen Next

  1. End Game Couples: Clifton and Joi, Demetrius and Sabrina, Eric and DaKiya, Tina and Wiley
  2. Next To Be Eliminated: Laverne and Paul for the bottom two, maybe Tory if the previous is spoiling that

Highlights

The Competition Has Begun

DaKiya not appreciating Carmen moving in on her man

With Carmen swooping in on DaKiya’s time with Eric, Clifton feeling a certain way about Laverne mentioning one of his tops is Joi, and no new singles from this point on? The competition is on, and we’re excited to see what the end game couples will be. Especially considering the mud-slinging is starting to begin between the men and women.

Overall
While not having the full cast come in at once was potentially effective, it’s time to get to the nitty-gritty, and as people begin making claims, so does the drama seem to be on the horizon.
