Despite being a horror movie which had no marketing, and seems cheesy, Haunting on Fraternity Row is surprisingly good.

Haunting on Fraternity Row Ending Explained

Dougie (Ashton Moio) apologizing to Claire for killing her.
Dougie (Ashton Moio): I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I couldn’t let it out.

The gist is, after a trip to western Eurasia, Sarken brought back a demon with him. It isn’t clear from where, what was its name or anything like that. All we know is that demon came back with him and started haunting his home and killing people. Now, how did he seal said demon? Well, thanks to his granddaughter Daphne, who is under Liza’s sorority, we learn the only way to stop the demon is killing someone who was touched by death. In this movie’s case, that was Claire who nearly lost her life when her mother fainted at the wheel, and she somehow woke up, Claire, 7 days later.

So, to end all that was happening, which leaves everyone dead but Dougie, maybe Daphne, Claire is murdered for her existence created a bridge from the afterlife to our reality.

Does Haunting on Fraternity Row Have Sequel Potential?

Technically yes. The demon was only sealed, not defeated, and with Dougie alive, he has a story to tell and could seek out revenge.

While the Haunting on Fraternity Row has quality characters, the kind you care about the fates of, because the danger wasn’t pushed more it becomes anti-climatic after a while. Add in an ending which may likely piss you off, and it sours what could have been a decent little horror movie.
